PJ Bloom

Music Supervisor, Neophonic

PJ Bloom is one of the most productive and creative professionals in the entertainment industry today. He is a two-time ASCAP Pop Award winner, two-time BMI Pop Award winner, two-time BMI Urban Award winner, placed No. 80 on Billboard Magazine’s annual Power 100 list, owns a Grammy-winning record label and both the Guild of Music Supervisors and the American Association of Independent Music have named PJ “Music Supervisor of the Year”.

 

As one of the top Music Supervisors in the Entertainment Industry, PJ has created unique soundtracks for over a thousand episodes of television and fifty films as well as video games, advertisements and even amusement park thrill rides. He has collaborated with such prolific filmmakers and television producers as Steven Spielberg, Ryan Murphy, Michael Mann, Jerry Bruckheimer and Ridley Scott while rendering his distinctive brand to nearly every studio and network in the Hollywood system.

 

PJ’s career soundtrack sales tally more than 50 million singles and 15 million albums worldwide. As the Music Supervisor for the entire groundbreaking Glee franchise, his work holds the record for most charted songs by a single act in Billboard Hot 100 chart history, surpassing Elvis Presley, The Beatles and James Brown.

Ron Broitman

EVP, Head of Synchronization - Warner/Chappell

Ron Broitman is Executive Vice President, Head of Synchronization, Warner/Chappell Music (WCM) & Rhino Entertainment.  Overseeing WCM and Rhino's newly-unified synchronization operations, Broitman leads a team representing both recorded music and music publishing rights and offering clients a comprehensive licensing service. Broitman and his team serve recording artists and songwriters by strategically developing new opportunities in film, TV, advertising, video games, and new media, and also by collaborating with the company's frontline recorded music labels. Broitman previously served as Senior Vice President, Head of Synchronization, WCM.

 

Prior to Warner/Chappell, Broitman served as Senior Vice President of Film, TV & Advertising at Sony/ATV Music Publishing. In this role, Broitman was responsible for building and managing the department that placed and negotiated Sony/ATV's entire repertoire across a number of media platforms, including advertising campaigns, film and film trailers, new media projects, television and video games. Before joining Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Broitman served as Vice President of Film, TV & Advertising Music at BMG Music Publishing US. In this position, he managed the day-to-day activities of the synchronization department and represented the BMG and Zomba Music Publishing catalogs. During that time, Broitman spent two years overseeing the entire synchronization business for all of the music publishing catalogs and all of the BMG recorded music labels, including Arista, Jive and RCA, among others. Broitman began his career in commercial production for Propaganda Films and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA and a Juris Doctorate degree from Cornell Law School.
