2017 was the worst year on record for drug overdoses with over 72,000 deaths in the United States alone, nearly 200 every day. Addiction has a dark and powerful presence in our industry. We wanted to open up the discussion about this disease in order to better understand how to identify and approach it. A certified alcohol and drug professional will help to break down the overarching stigma and fear of seeking help and simplify the complex nature of treatment. This panel will bring insight and provide resources to those seeking help for themselves or for others.
